Our Maths curriculum is designed to inspire confidence, curiosity and resilience, ensuring every student is supported to make excellent progress from their starting point. Through an inclusive and ambitious curriculum, students develop fluency, reasoning and problem-solving skills, enabling them to think logically, communicate mathematically and apply their knowledge in a wide range of contexts.
In Key Stage 3, students build secure foundations in mathematical concepts while developing confidence in reasoning, mathematical vocabulary and problem solving.
At Key Stage 4, learning is deepened as students strengthen their understanding, apply multiple mathematical skills to increasingly complex GCSE questions and justify their thinking with confidence.
In Key Stage 5, students develop a sophisticated understanding of pure mathematics, statistics and mechanics, using mathematical proof, argument and rigorous problem-solving to tackle advanced concepts and prepare for higher education and future careers.
