Our School and Routine

At Marylebone Academy, we have high expectations of every student. Excellent attendance, punctuality and readiness to learn are essential in helping students achieve their full potential and make the most of every opportunity.

Students are expected to arrive at school by 8.25am, ready for the start of the school day. Students arriving after 8.30am will be recorded as late and will be sanctioned with a detention.

Students enjoy a 20-minute morning break and a 35-minute lunch break. During these times, students can buy snacks and lunch from our school canteen and are required to remain on-site. The library is also open, providing a welcoming space for reading, independent study and quiet reflection.

The formal school day finishes at 3.00pm, although many students choose to remain on site to take advantage of the wider opportunities available such as enrichment and homework clubs.
